Your business can make a huge difference to the lives of vulnerable local young people and by doing so, could help fulfil your corporate social responsibility obligations. CHYP is a small charity so you and your staff will really be able to see the difference you can make.
A charity of the year partnership can be a successful tool for team building and boosting staff morale, and it can provide some of the most valuable returns through enhanced motivation, loyalty and staff development.
Charity partnerships can also be a justifiable part of your marketing strategy, bringing branding and media coverage opportunities. It will also help communicate your company as a good corporate citizen.

In-house fundraising events are a great way to motivate staff and raise money. You may already organise an annual event such as a Christmas party or a golf day which could double up as a great opportunity to support CHYP and to entertain your business contacts and clients.
Smaller events such as quiz nights, dress down days or holding a raffle can be much simpler to organise and still raise vital funds for CHYP.
We are always looking for teams to raise funds for CHYP. It could be any team event of your choice, a walk, run or even a challenge such as climbing the three peaks or a parachute jump.
It’s great fun and great for team building.
A practical way to encourage your workforce is to match fund their efforts and rewarding them for their generosity. It boosts morale and encourages team building.
Funding ongoing costs and salaries is always a challenge for us and we need all the help we can get. You could also contact us to find out about specific items or projects we may need funding for.
Donations are always very gratefully received and will be put to good use. We can, if required, provide reports on how donations have been used and their impact on the young people we support.
You may be able to claim tax relief for qualifying donations to UK charities. See hmrc.gov.uk for more information.
Could your company support by donating items or equipment? We have an office and two supported houses in Cirencester and we are often in need of items or equipment, and if you could donate them, you would be saving us vital money.
So please get in touch if you have anything that you would like to donate, that you think might be useful.
Don’t forget the importance of spreading the word.
Simply by telling other people and companies about CHYP, and the fact you’re supporting us, may encourage them to help us too.
Volunteering is a great way to get involved, either through fundraising events, or at the CHYP Shop, anyone can volunteer in this way.
